Transition Towns - 11 June 2009

Spot the difference between "before" and "after" of a Transition Town.

If you have heard about Transition Towns, and would like to know more, why not come to a Transition Towns Film Night and Discussion?
The Transition Towns Movement ( http://www.transitiontowns.org/ ) encourages the development of a low carbon society, addressing the problems of both climate change and peak oil. We are holding a film night, and discussion, for people interested in how a Transition Town might operate in the City of Port Phillip.
A Transition Town includes locally based groups being involved in areas such as local food production, water and waste management, energy, transport, planning and design and community involvement in general.
If you are interested in creating a more sustainable, thriving urban community, or would just like to know more, you are welcome to attend.
Please RSVP if you intend to attend this event.
